This is a favorite Binocular object and it looks great at low power in the 4" as well. I have taken several shots of this during the season but this 45 minute exposure is the longest so far. At this exposure a small open cluster has appeared just to the left of the Coathanger, NGC 6802. This is an 8.8 magnitude cluster and I have not seen it on any of my previous photos. As before this was taken on Fuji Superia 800 X-tra film at the NCO October Boon Star Party. |
