| Wide Angle:
This shot shows the northern part of Scorpius and the southern part of Ophiuchus with the billowing star clouds of the Milky Way at the bottom. In the lower center you can see the Antares – M4 area with the orange, red and blue nebulosity. This shot was taken with a 50mm f1.4 lens stopped down to f2.8 and PJ400 film. I piggybacked the camera on my Meade 8” SCT for this 20 minute unguided exposure. |
